Overview

TP321 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel of the Ni-Cr-Ti type, featuring corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and creep resistance. It is usually applied to industries with high requirements for anti-grain-boundary-corrosion resistance.

Application

It is used in the manufacture of acid-resistant containers, linings for wear-resistant equipment, and conveying pipes.

Heat treatment and hardness

Solution treatment 1040°C (1900°F), water or other rapid cool.

Hardness: max. 192 HBW or 200 HV or 90 HRB
