Titanium copper

Overview

Titanium copper is an environmentally friendly material with high reliability and high performance, especially in the final stage of the alloy manufacturing process, the application of temperature aging treatment. This effect is like calendering again, making the material harder and stronger, while increasing the conductivity and elongation, which is in line with the thinning trend of electronic materials.

Performance

Titanium copper is a high-performance precipitation-hardened environmentally friendly copper alloy with extremely high strength (1000N/mm2), excellent stress relief properties, higher heat resistance than beryllium copper, and can obtain a good minimum bending radius (R/t) and higher yield strength.

C19910 (NKT322)

C19910 reinforced titanium-copper alloy is an ultra-high strength copper alloy that replaces beryllium copper. It also has excellent bending properties when the yield strength exceeds 1000MPa (equivalent to the strength of beryllium copper C17200M). It has high temperature stress relaxation resistance, high fatigue strength and high wear resistance and corrosion resistance, which provides enough contact force for micro terminals, and is widely used in mobile phones and other micro terminals. Only titanium metal needed to add to the copper matrix, without any hardening heat treatment, so it is an environmentally friendly high-strength material.

Application

Due to its balanced mechanical properties, it is widely used in switches, connectors and other electronic parts. C19910 is considered as a good alternative to beryllium copper.
