TP321 overview
TP321 stainless steel is Ni-Cr-Ti austenitic stainless steel, with abrasion resistance, high temperature resistance, creep resistance, etc., used in the manufacture of wear-resistant acid containers and wear-resistant equipment lining, conveying pipelines.
The Ti in TP321 stainless steel exists as a stabilizing element, but it is also a heat-strong steel, which is much better than 316L in high temperature. TP321 has good abrasion resistance in organic and inorganic acids at different concentrations and temperatures, especially in oxidizing media, and is used to manufacture wear-resistant acid containers and the lining of wear-resistant equipment.
TP321 performance is very similar to 304, but due to the addition of titanium, it has better resistance to grain boundary corrosion and high temperature strength. Due to the addition of titanium, it effectively controls the formation of chromium carbide.
TP321 stainless steel has excellent high temperature Stress Rupture properties and high temperature Creep Resistance, and its stress mechanical properties are better than 304 stainless steel.
